Notes from the curator
Two outstanding versions of our high-impact Poaquil - a Fully Washed process, and a Natural process. This blend combines the cleanliness and strong chocolate notes of washed Bourbons with the sweetness and complexity of Natural processed beans - a truly delightful cup! This coffee was sourced at a 300% premium (paid directly to the farmers) over Fair-Trade standards, and has allowed them to invest in their own green coffee processing equipment for the first time in their 50-year history!

The recipes that came from Ethos for this coffee make the most sour and disgusting cup of coffee I have ever had. I’ve been drinking black coffee since I was a teen and 4 decades later I cannot think of a worse cup of coffee I’ve ever had than this product. Either their ratios are way off, the batch I received was improperly roasted or the 2 positive reviews here are from the owners or their friends. Abysmal.
Enjoyed the Black Swan which does have a nice chocolate note to it. Will order again as I check out the variety of Roasters w Spinn. Appreciate it comes in 16 Oz versus 10-12 as a number of roasters do.
The roasters in Lakeland, FL have given us a rich, full bodied gem. This is so far my favorite roast.
